Chromium Oxide Polishing Powder

[Applied Field]

  • The Mohs hardness of crystal chromium oxide is 9, which is only less than diamond (10). It is equal to corundum (aluminum oxide) and carborundum (silicon carbide), and far higher than the common quartz, feldspar(6), steel & glass(5.5-6.5). Therefore, it can be widely used in the grinding and polishing of ceramics, machinery, instruments, horologes and optical glasses.

[Product Properties]

  • Smooth particles make it no scratch left after polishing. Narrow granularity distribution, high hardness, great grinding force, good surface quality after grinding.
