Cerium Oxide
[Applied Field]
- Functional fine ceramics: As an additive to ceramics,
it can decrease the sinter temperature, restrain the growth
of the crystal lattice so
as to increase the density of the ceramics.
- Plating alloy coating: As an additive to Zn-Ni, Zn-Co or
Zn-Fe alloys, it can alter
the electric crystallizing process of Zn, cause the orientation
optimization of the crystal
lattice plane and make the coating more uniform and dense in order
to increase the corrosion
resistance.
- Polymer: It can increase the thermodynamic stability and
ageing resistance.
[Product properties]
- NP-CE-1, which is a product prepared by the liquid composition
method with an oxalate as precursor, has a perfect crystalline with
the grain size near 100nm and a high density. It can decrease the
porosity of the ceramics. This product has good dispersancy and
transparency and can be easily added to the polymers like plastic
sand and silicone rubber.
- NP-CE-3, which is prepared with carbonate precursor, has a
low density and a large specific surface area. It is applicable for
coating materials and catalysts.
- NP-CE-4 is prepared with cerium hydroxide precursor and has a
small grain size. It is applicable for the ultraviolet insulating
agent of the sun-against cosmetic and the ageing resistance of plastics
and coatings
